“Slėnyje” is a family run venture that revolves around eco-tourism, fly-fishing and seasonal organic cuisine that bears a distinctive national and historical character.
Guesthouse “Slėnyje” is the only living house in the Valley and it can only accommodate three families or parties thus ensuring enough space either in- or outside.
Guesthouse “Slėnyje” owners – Ieva and Mindaugas, will provide with any required information about sites of interest and gladly share their historical knowledge about the area (yes, they both have degrees in history).
At the Guesthouse “Slėnyje” we offer fresh home-baked traditional Lithuanian bread, local dairy products and organic vegetables. Moreover, there’s a bar with interesting liquors and bitters absolutely free of charge (all you have to do is put something back in case of usage).
If you fancy outdoor activities, Guesthouse “Slėnyje” location is perfectly fitted for that matter. Love hiking? Neris regional park’s cognitive trails loops literally just outside the porch. Looking for wild brown trout fishing? Dūkšta creek is less than a minute walk away. Dream of battling trophy Baltic salmon? One of the most prolific salmon pools is 200 meters outside. Not to mention mushroom hunting, berries picking, bird watching, deer stalking and much more…
